After the announcement of Bajrang Dal and VHP, a large number of workers gathered in the university, after which a large number of police forces have been deployed in the university. The security personnel tried to stop the students but they did not agree and forcibly entered the Lal Baradari and started reciting Hanuman Chalisa while sitting on the ground.

These students alleged that universities are temples of education, offering namaz and holding iftari parties here is completely wrong. He alleged that outsiders have also started entering here, which is being opposed. The students claimed that no outsiders (people from Bajrang Dal or Vishwa Hindu Parishad) were invited here. He raised the question as to where the police administration had gone on that day when Namaz was offered here. Police does not take any action against those who offer namaz but arrests those who recite Hanuman Chalisa.

The police had to work hard to control the students. The police have also detained some students. At present there is tension in the university regarding this. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot. The police administration is keeping an eye on the entire situation.

Earlier, a video of Lal Baradari of Lucknow University campus had gone viral, in which Hindu students had helped Muslim students in offering Namaz by making a chain. This video was being described as an example of communal harmony. But, on Monday, another organization of students came out against it and started protesting against it.

Let us tell you that Lal Baradari renovation work is going on, a board was also installed here. Despite this, students of Muslim community had come here to offer namaz. It is being told that after this the premises were locked and barricaded. After which the students sat outside and offered Namaz.

Hindu students formed human chain

When these students were stopped from offering Namaz. Then the Hindu students pulled down the barricading and stood up forming a human chain, after which the students offered namaz there. After this he broke his fast in front of Lal Baradari and Hindu students also supported him. Due to this, today another group of students reached there and started creating ruckus.

Following the student protests, a large number of police forces have been deployed in the university. The administration has appealed to the students to maintain peace.
