The good thing for Delhi Capitals was that Lungi Ngidi was discharged from the hospital on Saturday night itself. After getting information about the incident, Delhi Police had prepared a green corridor to take Ngidi to the hospital. The ambulance reached the hospital in just 11 minutes.

Punjab Kings created history

Batting first, Delhi Capitals made its highest score in IPL. Delhi Capitals had scored 264 runs on the basis of KL Rahul’s historic century inning of 152 runs. Delhi Capitals’ next match will be with Royal Challengers Bangalore on 27 April. In place of Ngidi, Vipraj Nigam came to field as a concussion substitute.
