Vikas conducted recce of Gurdaspur and Amritsar police stations and sent videos and then Bhatti instructed him to hand over the grenade to Hargunpreet Singh and his associate.

Regarding the second arrested terrorist, Hargunpreet Singh alias Gurkaranpreet, the police said that Hargunpreet is a resident of Firozpur, Punjab and has studied only till class 12. He came in contact with Bhatti through a friend.
