Maheedi Hasan broke Harbhajan Singh’s record

The first match of the 3 -match series was won by hosts Sri Lanka. In the second match, Bangladesh won a big win of 83 runs. The final match of the series was played on Wednesday. Maheedi Hasan put a historic spell and broke a record of Harbhajan Singh. He took 4 wickets for 11 runs in 4 overs, this is the best spell of a visiting player at Premdasa Stadium. Earlier this record was in the name of Harbhajan Singh, who took 4 wickets for 12 runs in 4 overs against England in the T20 World Cup in 2012.

Bangladesh did not start well, chasing the target of 133 runs, Pervez Hosain (0) was out on the very first ball, but after that Tanjid Hasan (73) and captain Litan Das (32) shared a significant partnership, both shared 74 runs. Tanjid Hasan scored an unbeaten 73, played 6 sixes and 1 four in this innings played in 47 balls.

Bangladesh won the decisive match by 8 wickets and won the series 2–1, this is Bangladesh’s first T20 series against Sri Lanka. Maheedi Hasan was chosen as the match and Litton Das was chosen as the best player of the series.
