Mahesh babu got ed notice: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a notice to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in connection with the money laundering investigation related to real estate firms. According to the report, the investigation is based on two real estate companies Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group on alleged fraud and irreverages on large scale. Mahesh Babu has been asked to appear for the inquiry on 27th in the notice.

Why ED has sent notice to Mahesh Babu
According to the report, Mahesh Babu has been issued a notice for allegedly Androos of projects related to developers and allegedly charging a fee of Rs 5.9 crore. Out of this amount, Rs 3.4 crore was paid through check, while the remaining 2.5 crore rupees were allegedly given cash, which have now come under the purview of investigation. The TOI report states that the ED suspects that the cash payment may be part of the group’s laundering fund.

FIR registered against Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group
In the FIR lodged by the Telangana Police, Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group have been accused of cheating investors by selling the same plot several times in unauthorized layouts and by giving fake registration guarantee. It is believed that due to Andrors of the actor’s project, the public’s confidence in it and it has played an important role in attracting those who were unaware of the alleged fraud.

It should be noted that there is currently no indication that the actor was involved in the scam. The ED is only investigating the payments received by him as the authorities have claimed that they have recovered evidence indicating suspicious transactions of Rs 100 crore.
