Mahindra xev 9e vs tata harrier ev: Tata Harrier EV has entered the Indian market after a long wait. In the country’s electric SUV segment, it is believed to be directly competing with Mahindra XUV 9E. In such a situation, the question arises that which of these two EVs will be more beneficial to buy a car? Let’s know in detail.

Who is close to the budget?

The initial price of Tata Harrier EV is Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the initial price of Mahindra Xuve9 is Rs 21.90 lakh. That is, Tata Harrier EV is 40,000 cheap and its top variants also offer more range and performance. The Harrier EV is a bit cheap at the initial price and the value for money looks a little ahead.

Who ahead in terms of design?

The Tata Harrier Ev is inspired by its Ice model, but has modern taches such as close grills, aero-optimized 19-inch alloy wheels and connected LED tail lamps. On the other hand, the Mahindra Xuve9 is a strong coupe-style SUV consisting of inverted L-shape LED taillights, flush door handles and dual-tone alloy wheels. Its look looks more young and futuristic. The design of xuv.e9 is more modern and developed, which attracts young customers.

Interior and Technology

Tata Harrier Ev’s cabin comes with dual-tone theme and 14.5 inch touchscreen, 10.25 inch digital cluster, and ventilated seats. Its interior premium. At the same time, you get three screens in Mahindra Xuve9: Driver display, center infotainment and passenger screen, all of 12.3 inches. It also has high-end features such as panoramic sunroof, harmony cardon sound system and multi-zone climate control. The interior of xuv.e9 gives more high-tech and luxury experience.

Safety features

Both SUVs i.e. Tata Harrier EV and Mahindra Xuve9 have modern safety and comfort features like Level-2 Adas, 360-Digry camera and wireless charging. However, the Tata Harrier EV provides off-roading features such as transparent mode, boost mode and six terrain modes, which enable it to perform better on difficult routes. On the other hand, Mahindra Xuve9 includes high-tech and premium features such as AR based head-up display, Auto Park Assist and 1400W Harmon Cardon Sound System, which make it technically even more innovative. From this point of view, while Harrier EV is suitable for off-roading lovers, Xuv.e9 attracts more customers who prefer innovation and luxury features.

Battery and performance

In terms of battery and performance, Tata Harrier EV comes in two options (65kwh and 75kwh battery packs), whose range – 505 and 627 km. Its power output goes from 235 bhp to 390 bhp and it can catch the speed of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.3 seconds. It is strong in both performance and grip due to its dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup. At the same time, Mahindra Xuve9 is also available in two battery options (59kwh and 79kwh), which gives a range of 542 and 656 km. Its power is between 228 bhp to 282 bhp and it can catch from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds. Although it has a rear-wheel drive (RWD) setup, its long range makes it a better option for long distance trips.

Talking about the range, the Harrier EV can also give a actual range of about 500 km. That is, in the case of power, the Harrier Ev looks a little ahead.

Technology and features
