Signs of infertility: After marriage, every couple wants children to have happiness on time. But despite trying many times, pregnancy is not possible. In such a situation, the question arises in the mind that if there is no child even after making physical relations, then it is considered to be a problem of infertility, according to experts, a global rule is fixed for it, which is necessary for every couple to know.

When is infertility considered?

Dr. Himashu Roy says that, if a couple creates regular physical relations for 12 consecutive months without any safety measures and despite this, it is not conceived, then it is considered to be a problem of infertility. This is called infertility at the international level.

Problems can be done in both women and men

• Often people believe that infertility is just a problem of women, but it is not so.
• In about 40% of cases, the causes are related to women.
• In 30-35% of cases, the problem is of men.
• In 20-25% of cases, both partners cause problems.

Main cause of infertility

• In women – problems like hormonal imbalance, PCOS, blocked fallopian tubes, growing age, or thyroid.
• In men-low sperm count, sperm quality poor, alcohol-cigarette intake, stress and obesity.
• Lifestyle Factor – Lack of sleep, unbalanced diet, junk food and more stress.

How many times is it necessary to have a relationship?

Experts say that to increase the chances of pregnancy, it is sufficient to have a relationship 2 to 3 times a week in the ovulation period of the menstrual cycle. This means that there is not only a guarantee of pregnancy by having a relationship more often, but the right time and healthy body condition is more important.

When should the doctor’s advice?

• If the woman is under 35 years of age and despite efforts for 12 months, pregnancy is not happening.
• If the woman is more than 35 years of age, then even after trying for 6 months, contact the doctor immediately if there is no pregnancy.
• Tests should be done if there is a problem of frequent fatigue, lack of sexual desire in men.
