मंदिरा कपूर ने इस दौरान अपने भाई संजय कपूर की अचानक मौत को लेकर भी बात की. उन्होंने संजय की मौत पर सवाल खड़े करते हुए कहा- ‘मेरी मां (रानी कपूर) की एक आम सी गुजारिश थी. हमने अपने परिवार के एक सदस्य को खो दिया है. हमारे लिए, वो मेरी मां का बेटा था, मेरे लिए वो एक भाई था. उसका आखिरी मेडिकल टेस्ट कब हुआ था? क्या उसने अपने दिल की जांच करवाई थी? मुझे जवाब चाहिए. मेरी मां मुझसे हर दिन पूछती हैं कि ये कैसे हुआ? वो पूरी तरह हेल्दी था. उन्हें जवाब कौन दे रहा है?’

लंदन में हुई थी संजय कपूर की मौत
बता दें कि संजय कपूर की मौत यूके में पोलो खेलते हुए हुई थी. ऐसे में जब मंदिरा कपूर से पूछा गया कि क्या वो अपने भाई की मौत के मामले को लंदन पुलिस के सामने उठाएंगी, मंदिरा ने कहा- ‘मुझे लगता है कि ये ऐसा मामला है जिस पर मुझे, मेरी बहन और मेरी मां को बैठकर चर्चा करनी होगी और देखना होगा कि हम क्या करना चाहते हैं.’
