Politics in the state has intensified after the statement given by former RJD National Vice President Shivanand Tiwari regarding Tejashwi Yadav being reduced to 25 seats in the Bihar Assembly elections (2025). Now BJP quota minister Mangal Pandey has reacted. While talking to journalists on Thursday (December 11, 2025), on one hand Mangal Pandey attacked RJD and on the other hand he also gave a statement on the encounter taking place in Bihar.

Journalists told Mangal Pandey that Shivanand Tiwari is saying that Tejashwi Yadav has fled the field. On this, Mangal Pandey said, “Very soon the fight within RJD will be visible outside, the rebellion against the leadership will be visible, the rebellion that took place in the family is visible, the rebellion in the party is also going to come out now.”

‘Whatever legal action is required will be taken’

Even today, an encounter took place in Patna. On this, Bihar Minister Mangal Pandey said, “It is very clear that no criminal can escape from committing a crime. Whatever legal action is required will be taken. It is being told repeatedly by the government that the perpetrators should either give up the crime or leave Bihar, otherwise the police will take action under the law and that action is being taken.”

What has Shivanand Tiwari said?

Shivanand Tiwari wrote from his social media handle on Wednesday (December 10, 2025) that Tejashwi is the son of Lalu Yadav. They are his heirs. Rather, the command of Rashtriya Janata Dal is now in the hands of Tejashwi. In the last elections, it was announced that Tejashwi Yadav would be the Chief Minister if the Grand Alliance gets majority, but this could not happen. Rather the opposite happened. Junior doctors of PMCH, the largest government hospital in the state, have gone on strike. On Thursday (December 04, 2025), OPD and emergency services came to a standstill. The patients and their families who came for treatment had to return. The reason for the strike is the fight between family members and junior doctors last Wednesday (December 03, 2025) morning.

On Wednesday, an elderly patient Suresh Singh died of brain hemorrhage. After this, an argument started between the relatives of the deceased and the junior doctors, which soon turned into a fight. Family members allege that the junior doctor assaulted them and even held them hostage for some time. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the hospital premises.

A complaint has been lodged by both the parties at Pirbahore police station. The patient’s family accused him of negligence in treatment. On the other hand, junior doctors have demanded security.

What do family members say?

Aman, son of the deceased Suresh Singh, had said on Wednesday after the incident, “Father had brain hemorrhage. He was admitted three days ago. Today his condition worsened. ECG was checked. After this, my sister just said that his (father’s) body is warm, please check once because the body gets cold after death. Then objectionable words were spoken to the sister by the doctor. The sister said how can one talk like this. We were also there. The doctor pushed the sister. This is the video. One lakh rupees were snatched in the fight.

Let us tell you that every day there are reports of fighting between family members and doctors in PMCH. It is surprising that till date no such system has been made here as to how to stop it. Even the health department remains silent. No concrete steps are taken even by the PMCH administration. Many times the guards have also beaten the family members of the patients here.

It is about 10 o’clock in the morning. The condition of Pammi Devi, who hails from Jehanabad near Emergency, had worsened. She was in unconscious state… was vomiting. When an attempt was made to record on the camera, the guards and some other people (who are probably brokers) started refusing… Why are you taking photos… The phone camera was forced to close the camera. Family members said that it was brought to the emergency at four in the morning. After an hour the doctor saw. Then he said that he has to show to the psychiatrist… was referred by saying this.

Family members said that the patient was brought to the main gate from the trolley in the emergency ward. After this, it was said that with its arrangement, it would have to be taken inside the hospital to the psychiatry department. The trolley man sought to reach 100 rupees but on seeing the journalist, he became nine to two eleven.

The patient’s family Kanhaiyalal said that he will not say anything on the camera or else treatment will not be done. Said that bringing the patient in PMCH is equal to playing with dangers. After spending hours in the emergency, the patient was also not given medicine to prevent vomiting. On coming to the psychiatry department, the doctors will come after 11 o’clock.

Superintendent not found in office… did not pick up phone

In two days, the ABP News team wanted to question the superintendent of the hospital about what he saw and felt, but no one is ready to speak. Superintendent of PMCH Dr. Indrashekhar Thakur was not found in the office till 11 am on Tuesday (September 23, 2025). The team contacted his mobile. He did not receive even after having a full ring twice. The guard posted in the office said that there is no place for their arrival. No one knows when you will come. After this we contacted the Deputy Superintendent. They also did not meet in the office till 11 am. When contacting his mobile, he said, “We are not allowed to talk to the media. Only Superintendent can talk to the media.”
