Congress MP from Chandigarh Manish Tiwari commented on the claims made by US President Donald Trump on Sunday (July 20, 2025). The Congress MP said about the claims of the US President that if Donald Trump says that if five fighter jets have been killed, they should also tell the basis behind this information.

He said, “This is a very bold statement given by President Trump, then he should also tell the basis of it. It should be revealed with this that if five jets have been killed, then which country was that jet.”

Congress Lok Sabha MP Manish Tiwari said about Operation Sindoor, “We were in a state of struggle with Pakistan. We were responding to a terrorist attack in our country. India carried out accurate attacks on the scheduled bases and training centers of terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). We took action in self -defense.”

He said, “In such a situation, if President Trump says that 5 military jets were killed during that struggle, then President Donald Trump will also have to tell the world which country they belonged to.”

MP Manish Tiwari said, “The monsoon session of Parliament is starting from tomorrow on Monday (July 21, 2025). All these issues will be discussed in detail during this session.” He said, “The major issues of discussion in the session also include the issue of China, there is also an issue of restrictions imposed by the European Union on some refineries in India, which has a huge share of Russia. There are many other questions related to our neighborhood foreign policy and our strategic principles. Therefore, all these issues will be discussed during the Parliament session.”
