Manisha Koirala was born on 16 August 1970 in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. He belongs to the royal family of Nepal.

Actress’s grandfather Visheshwar Prasad has been the Prime Minister of Nepal and father Prakash, a cabinet minister.

In 1989, Manisha started her acting career with the Nepali film ‘Pheri Bhataula’.
