There was an outcry on the Purvanchal Express in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday (10 December) morning. When an uncontrolled car hit a car parked ahead near Kudwa village. In which five people died, while many were injured. The collision was so severe that the car caught fire. The villagers present in the fields called the police and somehow rescued the people trapped inside the car.

Right now the condition of one girl remains critical. On the other hand, there is chaos among the family members after the incident. The police have sent the injured for treatment and have started investigating the accident.

What was the entire incident?

A horrific road accident on Purvanchal Expressway in Subeha police station area devastated many families. Here, near Kudwan village, a Brezza car coming at a high speed hit an already parked WagonR, due to which both the vehicles were engulfed in flames. Among the four people traveling in the Brezza, there were three women and a girl. Three of them are safe, but the condition of one girl remains critical. There were three children, a woman and a man in the WagonR.

A woman and a girl died on the spot. Two girls who were 6 and 7 years old were sent to CHC Haidergarh, overall 5 people have lost their lives so far.

There were a dozen people in both the vehicles

Eyewitness Deepak, who was working in the fields, narrated the incident as he witnessed it. He told, “We were engaged in work in the fields when suddenly a vehicle came at high speed from behind and collided with another vehicle. The collision was so terrible that fire broke out in both the vehicles immediately. We ran to the spot and somehow tried to get the people out. There must have been about a dozen people in both the vehicles.

Treatment of five continues

Five people have been declared dead at Haidergarh Community Health Centre. Five people have been brought to the district hospital here in a critical condition, out of which the condition of one person was very serious, who has been sent to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for treatment. The remaining four injured are being treated here.

Illegal firecrackers exploded in Ayodhya. So far, 5 people have been confirmed dead in this blast, while many people are reported to be injured. This explosion took place in Pagla Bhari village of Pura Kalandar police station area. A burst cooker and cylinder have been recovered from the spot. Senior Superintendent of Police is present at the incident site. Rescue operation is going on. The explosion was so strong that a house collapsed.

CM Yogi expressed condolences

CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the explosion in the house in Ayodhya, Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences to the deceased. CM Yogi has instructed the officials to reach the spot immediately and speed up the relief work, and also directed the officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital for their proper treatment. CM Yogi has wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Ayodhya District Medical Officer said that dead bodies of three children and two adults were brought. The body is burnt. At 7:15, information came that the roof had collapsed. There was a loud noise. The work of removing debris is going on. This house was in a field and there were no houses nearby. DM and SSP are on the spot. The police and forensic team will investigate only then we will know the reason behind the incident.

Officers engaged in investigation of the incident site

Regarding this incident, SSP Gaurav Grover said, “At around 7:15 pm in Pagla Bhari village of Pura Kalandar police station area, we had received information about a house built in a field outside the village, where a massive explosion took place. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operations. The injured in this incident were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. The spot was inspected by all the senior officers.

He also said that there is a lot of debris which has been removed. The outside area is also being searched. It was also told that a person named Pappu Gupta from the same village lived with his family in the said house, efforts are being made to contact his family members. Regarding this incident, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said, “…the rescue team immediately removed the debris and confirmed five deaths in the district hospital…”

Akhilesh Yadav expressed grief, demanded investigation

Former CM Akhilesh Yadav has expressed grief over the Ayodhya incident. Akhilesh Yadav wrote, “The news of death of 5 people due to blast in Ayodhya is very sad. Immediate arrangements should be made for proper treatment of the injured and the matter should be investigated.
