Rani Mukherjee starrer film ‘Mardaani 3’ hit the theaters on January 30. This film is the third installment of the crime thriller franchise, which started with ‘Mardaani’ in 2014 and continued with ‘Mardaani 2’ in 2019. In the latest chapter, Rani has once again given a strong performance in the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy and with this the film is performing well at the box office. Rani Mukherjee’s ‘Mardaani 3’ was a bit slow at the box office on Monday, however, the earnings figures of this crime thriller, which is competing with a big film like ‘Border 2’, are not disappointing at all! After a decent opening weekend, the film faced a tough test on Monday, and the results were decent.

Talking about the collection of the film, ‘Mardaani 3’ recorded the biggest opening in the franchise and earned Rs 4 crore on the first day. On Saturday, the film saw a tremendous growth of 50 percent and earned Rs 6 crore. On the third day, Rani Mukherjee’s cop drama once again showed some growth, adding another Rs 7.25 crore and taking its total opening weekend collection at the Indian box office to Rs 17.25 crore nett.

• According to the early trend report of Saknilk, ‘Mardaani 3’ has collected Rs 2.15 crore on the fourth day of its release i.e. Monday.
• With this, the total earning of ‘Mardaani 3’ in 4 days has now become Rs 19.65 crore.

Will it be included in Rani’s top 10?
It will be interesting to see whether ‘Mardaani 3’ is included in the top 10 highest-grossing films of Rani Mukherjee or not. Currently, at number 10 is the 2011 hit film ‘No One Killed Jessica’, which had earned Rs 29 crore. As of now, this female cop sequel is about Rs 9 crore away from reaching that total. Looking at the current trend, this film can make its place in the list of top 10 films of Rani Mukherjee’s career by its second weekend.
