Rani Mukherjee has made a comeback in theaters with the third installment of her very popular franchise ‘Mardaani’. In this cop drama directed by Abhiraj Meenawala, Rani is once again seen in the role of ACP Shivani Shivaji Roy, who is a strict police officer and is bent upon eliminating crime and criminals. ‘Mardaani 3’ was released in theaters on January 30 and received a decent response in the first week. But as it entered the second week, its pace slowed down. This cop drama has made the lowest collection ever on the second Friday. The film earned Rs 1.85 crore on Thursday (seventh day) and Rs 2.1 crore on Wednesday.
