Plan for assistance in marriage

On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government, daughters from the economically weaker families of the state are given financial assistance in marriage under the Mukhyamantri Group Marriage Scheme. The Uttar Pradesh government provides financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh in this scheme launched in the year 2017. Families whose family income is up to Rs 3 lakh. Daughters of those family are given benefits under this scheme.
