Amidst the ongoing anti-government protests in Iran, Tehran has warned that if America attacks them, they will target American soldiers and Israel. The death toll during these demonstrations has crossed 500. US-based Human Rights Activist News Agency reported that apart from these deaths, more than 10,600 people have been arrested in Iran.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said that in the event of a US attack, US military assets and Israel would be considered valid targets. He gave this threat when the MPs were raising slogans of Down with America during the live session of Parliament. Qalibaf praised Iran’s security forces for standing firm during the unrest and issued a stern warning to protesters.

Iranian President Masoud Pezheshkian has accused America and Israel of spreading unrest in Iran. He said that America and Israel are directing rioters and terrorists to destabilize Iran.
