The number of doctors in India is still less than required, especially in rural and remote areas. With a view to overcome this shortage, NMC has decided to expand MBBS seats so that more medical graduates can be produced in the coming years.

This entire application process will have to be completed between 29 December 2025 and 28 January 2026.
