According to media reports, Dr. Abhijeet Shet, chairperson of NMC, said that the inspection work of medical colleges is going on fast and these additional seats will be made available soon. According to NMC, about 8000 seats can be increased in medical UG and PG. The counseling process of NEET UG 2025 has started and the first round has been completed. Now the second round is likely to start from August 25.
