If you are looking for a government job in the medical field, then there is a golden opportunity for you. Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced to start the application process for recruitment of bumper posts of Medical Officer.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 25 March 2025 through OPSC official website opsc.gov.in. The final date of the application has been fixed on 25 April 2025.

A total of 5248 posts will be filled in the state through this recruitment drive. Under the campaign, 411 posts of unreserved category, 736 posts of SEBC, 1620 posts of Scheduled Castes (SC) and 2481 posts will be filled.

Candidates applying for these posts should have MBBS or equivalent degrees, which are obtained from a recognized medical college or institute and which is recognized by the Medical Council of India.

At the same time, if we talk about the age limit, the age of the candidate should be between 21 and 32 years according to 1 January 2025.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. The examination date has been fixed at 11 May 2025, which will be held in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. There will be a total of 200 marks paper in the examination, which will have 200 objective questions (MCQs). Every question will be of one mark.
