Even in international cricket till date such a feat has not been done that any player has scored a half-century in 11 balls. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh scored a half-century in 12 balls against England in 2007. The record of scoring the fastest fifty in ODI is in the name of South African player AB de Villiers and Caribbean player Matthew Ford. This player has scored a half-century in 16 balls in One Day International. But Akash Chaudhary has broken all records in first class cricket by scoring a half-century in just 11 balls.

The SIT of Meghalaya Police has filed a 790-page charge sheet in the high-profile honeymoon murder case. This case is related to the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, who shook the whole country. Police produced the charge sheet in court on Friday (5 September 2025).

According to sources, it is clearly written in the charge sheet that the mastermind of the murder is none other than the king’s wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and his alleged lover Raj Kushwaha. Akash Rajput, Anand Kurmi and Vishal Singh Chauhan helped in executing this conspiracy. A case has been registered against these five accused under sections of murder, evidence and criminal conspiracy. At present, these five accused are in jail in judicial custody.

Supplementary Chargesheet will be filed soon

Police say that a supplementary charge sheet will be filed soon on three more co-accused. These co-accused include property dealer Silomems James, building owner Lokendra Tomar and security guard Balbir Ahirwar. The three are accused of destroying and hiding evidence.

Marriage and honeymoon journey

Raja Raghuvanshi was married to Sonam on 11 May 2025. On the 9th day of marriage i.e. on 20 May 2025, both reached Meghalaya for honeymoon. Three days later, both suddenly went missing on 23 May. On the 9th day of the disappearance, on 2 June 2025, the King’s mutilated body was recovered from the valley near Weisadong waterfall in Sohra in Meghalaya. Sonam had no idea till this news came to light, but apart from Sonam’s boyfriend Raj, Vishal, Akash and Anand were arrested by the police from 8 from Indore. Just a day later, on 9 June, Sonam was found at a dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

Raja raghuwanshi murder case: Sonam confessed her crime on Wednesday (June 11, 2025), acknowledging her role in the death of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi. When the Meghalaya Police interrogated her lover Raj Kushwaha and confessed to him, he confessed his crime. The king was murdered within 9 hours with complete planning.

When did the king meet the killer

Sonam and Raja checked out from Shipra Home Stay at around 5:30 am on 23 May 2025. After half an hour, both went out on a trip to Cherrapunji. Sonam’s three companions, who were staying in a nearby homestay, also checked out at the same time. Around 10 o’clock in the morning, when both of them completed 2000 steps, they met Anant, Akash and Vishal.

Sonam calls Raja’s mother

At the same time, the guide saw those five together, which helped the police to solve the knot of this missing couple. As the attacker became familiar with Raj Raghuvanshi, Sonam started walking behind them. At around 12:30 pm, Sonam called Raja’s mother Uma Raghuvanshi and told during the conversation that she was tired of walking.

According to the NDTV report, after this Uma Raghuvanshi spoke to her son Raja, which proved to be his last conversation. After this, between 1 to 1:30 pm, these people reached near the waterfall parking, where Vishal attacked the king with a knife as soon as Sonam got a hint.

The king’s body was thrown at 2.30 pm

Soon after the husband’s murder, Sonam posted on social media from her phone at 2:15 pm, “Seven births.” After this, the accused threw the king’s body into a ditch under the parking lot at 2.30 pm.

Sonam and Raja Raghuvanshi were married on May 11. According to the Meghalaya Police, a plan to kill Raja Raghuvanshi soon after the marriage was prepared. This plan was not made by anyone else, but his wife Sonam made in association with Raj Kushwaha.

Meghalaya went for honeymoon

After marriage in Indore, Raja and Sonam moved to Meghalaya for honeymoon. He went missing a few hours after checking out from home stay in Nongariat village on 23 May. This place is 20 km from the place where the body of the king was found on 2 June. According to the police, Sonam gave Rs 20 lakh to the accused to carry out the crime.

Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam stayed in room number 4 on the first floor of Shipra Home Stay. The owner of the home stay told that both of them checked in on 22 May. After that he went out to walk. After coming back, both of them ordered food and then went to sleep. A guide also came with Sonam and Raja on 22 May, but it was not on 23 May. When the owner of the home stay asked about the guide, he told that they know the way, they will go.

At around 5:30 in the morning of May 23, both of them checked out and during that time another person saw Sonam and Raja. Both were taking photographs on the bridge. If that person believes, there was no tourist this morning. After this, he left for Mavalkhiyat on 23 May. On the way, he drank tea at a tea shop and went ahead.

Had the plan had been made long ago

An important information has been revealed about the murder of the king. Sources in the Shillong police said that Raj Kushwaha had given three contract killers the betel nut for the murder of the king. He himself did not go to Shillong. He sent only the three accused. King Raghuvanshi’s sister -in -law made a big disclosure and said that the king had left for a honeymoon from his house, while Sonam left her house (maiden).
