Women often ignore their symptoms or associate them with some other disease, due to which treatment is delayed and the risk increases, so let us know why women are more victims of heart-related diseases than men. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Why is the risk of heart related diseases increasing in women?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For a long time it was believed that women were safe from heart disease, but recent research shows that this was a misconception. In fact, women are also surrounded by many types of risk factors. Like diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity, and bad lifestyle, their effect is different on men and women. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>1. Diabetes &#8211;</strong> Women suffering from diabetes have a higher risk of heart disease, stroke and sudden heart failure than men. The possibility of death after heart attack is also found to be higher in such women. Therefore, to keep diabetes under control, regular checkups, balanced diet and taking medicines as per doctor&#8217;s advice are very important. </p>
