Mercedes-Aamg is preparing to launch its next performance electric sedan next month. This upcoming car has recently been teased through teaser image, which gives a lot of hints of its design and size. As soon as this new electric sedan arrives, AMG GT 4-DOOR COUPE will be called goodbye. Its silhouette had already been shown in the teaser image, but now the design details of the car are more clear in the new pictures.

It is clear from the teaser that Mercedes-Aamg is coming out of the liftback design of the GT model and is bringing a traditional trunk style. A clear body line appears to separate the rear windscreen and spiiler. Flush fitting door handles, large multi-spoke wheels and coupe-lacques give it a long and big luxury sedan look.

This new performance will be made on EV Mercedes’s amg.ea architecture, especially developed for fun-to-drive electric cars. A performance SUV will also come on this platform, which will have light and powerful axial-Flux motors made by Yasa. These motors are capable of giving power up to 473 bhp and torque up to 800 Nm.

As far as performance is concerned, the new AMG EV is expected to get two electric motors, which together will generate about 986 bhp power and 1,355 Nm of torque. It is not clear whether the motors will be placed on both axles for the all-wheel drive setup or just put all the focus of power back on the rear axle. It can definitely be said that the weight of the car can be slightly higher, which can affect its handling to some extent.

Earlier, Mercedes-Benz G 580 Electric was also launched, which according to the company, received good response from customers. This is the company’s popular G Wagon’s electric version. The price of G 580 EQ is about three crore rupees. The company had stated in January that it had received orders till the third quarter of the current year for this.
