Mercedes-Benz India Cars: Mercedes-Benz India has announced an increase in the prices of its cars by giving a big blow to its customers. This increase will apply to all existing models and will be applied in two stages.

The company has clarified that the first phase will be effective from 01 June 2025 and the second phase from 01 September 2025. After this decision, those who buy Mercedes cars will have to pay a price from Rs 90,000 to Rs 12.20 lakh.

How much price increased on which model?

Mercedes said that the prices of all models will be increased by up to 1.50 percent on an average. C-class-like entry-level luxury car has increased by the lowest 90,000. After the increase, the initial ex-showroom price of C-class has increased to 60.3 lakhs. At the same time, the price of the company’s most premium sedan Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has increased by 12.20 lakhs. Its new initial ex-showroom price will now be 3.60 crores. In addition, other popular models of Mercedes such as GLE, GLS, EQB and E-Class prices will also increase in a phased manner. This will directly affect the buyers’ pockets in the luxury car market.

What is the reason for increasing the price?

Santosh Iyer, managing director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, said that the biggest reason behind this decision is the declining price of Indian rupee and rising import cost. Many parts of Mercedes cars and technology are imported from abroad in India. The cost of these products has increased significantly due to the weakness of the rupee against the dollar.

Mercedes-Benz also said that the company’s financial service unit (MBFS) is presenting several financial solutions to customers to reduce the impact of rising prices. The interest rate on E 220D variants is also 9.8%, in which a down payment of Rs 9.59 lakh will have to be paid and the installment of 1,82,614 per month will have to be paid. At the same time, a down payment of Rs 10.65 lakh is fixed for E 450 variants, and its monthly EMI will be 2,02,783.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the 2.0-liter petrol engine (E 200) that generates torque of 194 bhp, 2.0-liter diesel engine (E 220D) that gives 197 bhp torque and E450 variants contains 48-volt mild hybrid systems.
