According to the Panchang, Pradosh Vrat is kept on the Trayodashi date of every month. This fast is mainly dedicated to Shiva worship. On this day, devotees keep a fast and worship Lord Shiva during Pradosh period. Especially the importance of Pradosh Vrat, which falls in the month of Sawan, increases significantly from religious point of view. Because both the month of Sawan and Pradosh Vrat are dedicated to Devadhidev Mahadev.

This year, the month of Sawan will end on 9 August 2025 on the day of Rakshabandhan. But before this, Pradosh Vrat will be kept on the Trayodashi date of Sawan Shukla Paksha, which will be the last Pradosh fast of Sawan Mahi.
