Amidst the increasing industrial demand and strong future prospects, Gravita India has taken a big bet by entering Copper Recycling. The company has announced to buy Rashtriya Metal Industries for ₹565 crore. Gravita, known for Lead Recycling, is now becoming a Multi-Commodity Player. The demand for Copper in EV and Renewable Energy is 3-4 times higher, whereas Recycling requires 85% less energy than Mining. Under Vision 2027, this step can make the company a Global Recycling Leader.
