<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Imd weather forecast:</strong> Delhi, Maharashtra and many other states have received heavy rains in the last 24 hours. Even today, there are chances of heavy rains in many parts. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rains in 6 states of the country. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the IMD, there may be heavy rains in the next 24 hours in South Bengal, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Gujarat. At the same time, there is a possibility of very heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya for the next two days, so a red alert has also been issued there. Apart from this, there may be heavy rains in many places in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha today. Also, the process of rain may continue in Northeast India for the next 5 days.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Warning of rain with strong winds in these states</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh may receive rain with strong winds at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour today. There is a possibility of rain in these states on Thursday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>It will rain till 22 June</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the Meteorological Department, between June 18 to 20, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada will rain with strong winds. On 18 and 19 June, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka are also expected to have good rains. Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh may receive heavy rains between 20 and 22 June.  At the same time, rain is estimated in eastern Uttar Pradesh on June 19 and 20. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Alert in many districts of Himachal</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in Mandi and Shimla districts of Himachal. There is a yellow alert in Bilaspur, Solan and Sirmaur, while the rest of the districts are also likely to rain with thunderstorms. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Possibility of heavy rains in Delhi too</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Delhi-NCR received rain on Tuesday night. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Wednesday.  Today, it may rain with air at a speed of 50–60 km/h in the day. At the same time, the maximum temperature is estimated to be 34 ° C and the minimum is 27 ° C.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Mumbai Heavy Rains</strong>: Monsoon has knocked in Maharashtra, which is seen across the state. But the most impact of this was seen in Metro City Mumbai. The people of Mumbai are upset with the onset of monsoon. The continuous rains since late night have stalled Mumbai. Its effect is being seen from the sky to the land.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A red eralt has been released by the Meteorological Department for Mumbai. The first and big impact is on Mumbai&#8217;s lifeline i.e. local train. The local services of the three railway line of Mumbai i.e. Central Railway, Harbor and Western Railway were affected, due to which the passengers going to work are facing problems.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Slow local trains going towards Kalyan on the Central Line of Central Railway are running a delay of 5 minutes, while the fast local trains coming towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus recorded a 40 -minute delay. Slow local services are also running late 20 minutes above normal.  </p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Not only this, the rail service was also stalled due to water filling on the track between Bhaikhala and Masjid Bandar station on the central line. The central rail has come to a standstill due to the water filling between the sand horst road and the fraternity. The local service of up and down side has stopped. The services of the Harbor Line have also started slow due to rain. At the same time, local trains of Western Railway are also seeing a delay of up to 5 minutes.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>  Accidents due to rain fall due to rain </strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Not only the local train, but also inside the newly constructed underground metro of Mumbai, Aqua line was flooded. In which the rain water can be seen going inside the station and going on the platform. There have also been accidents of tree fall due to strong winds and rain. BMC received information about falling of trees at 4 places in Mumbai Town and 5 places in Western Subfers. Local train service is affected here.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Light to moderate rains continue in areas like Kurla, Vidya Vihar, Sion, Dadar and Parel in Mumbai. The India Meteorological Department has warned that moderate to heavy rains may continue for a few hours to come. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that the intensity of rain may persist and water logging may arise in the low -lying areas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The BMC has appealed to the citizens to get out of the house only when it is extremely necessary. The highest rainfall was recorded at Nariman Point Fire Station in just one hour between 9 am and 10 am, where 104 mm of rain was recorded. </p>
