In the 47th match of IPL 2026, Mumbai Indians defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 6 wickets. Chasing a big target of 229, Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton made a partnership of 143 runs for the first wicket. Rohit was not a part of the playing 11, he came to bat as an impact player in place of Raghu Sharma. Raghu, who was playing his second IPL match, took the first wicket in the form of Akshat Raghuvanshi. Raghu celebrated this in a unique way, he took out a slip.

Raghu Sharma caught Akshar Raghuvanshi out on his own ball on the first ball of the 13th over. This was the first IPL wicket of Raghu, who was playing his second IPL match. After the wicket, Raghu took out a slip from his pocket on which something was written. It was written on the slip, “Radhe Radhe, by the grace of Gurudev, a difficult time of 15 years has ended. About Raghu Sharma

Raghu comes from Punjab. He was born on March 11, 1993 in Jalandhar. He is a bowler who plays for Punjab in domestic. This 33-year-old bowler was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh for the 2025 season. However, last year Raghu did not get a chance to play even a single match. He made his IPL debut in the match against Chennai Super Kings on 2 May, in which he could not take any wicket. Mumbai Indians also lost that match.

Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 84 runs in 44 balls against Lucknow Super Giants. He along with Ryan Rickelton made a partnership of 143 runs for the first wicket. Rohit Sharma’s ball hits ground staff

According to reports, when Rohit Sharma was practicing at Wankhede before the match against Lucknow Super Giants, one of his shots hit the ground staff (Siban Biswas). He immediately ran to him and inquired about his condition. Then Rohit went to that staff member with an ice pack and then also sent medicines.

Biswas told English newspaper Mid Day that Rohit Sharma sir had asked us to move away from the net, we went and stood on the side. While wrapping the rope, I did not pay attention to the players standing nearby. A ball came and hit my knee. Rohit sir came and asked about the injury. I said don’t worry, keep practicing. After this he brought an ice pack and sent medicines and spray to someone else.
