Statement from the Lebanese Health Ministry

France helped Lebanon

France on Thursday (12 March 2026) sent a plane carrying 60 tons of medicines and other relief materials from Paris’s Charles de Gaulle Airport to Beirut to help the civilians affected by the war in Lebanon. According to officials, apart from medicines, this consignment also includes ground mats, emergency medical kits and food for small children. French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarro said, ‘Based on the information we currently have, we hope and are confident that this plane will be able to land safely in Beirut as soon as possible.’
