US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday (4 October 2025) that Gaza has agreed to the return line between Israel and Hamas. Trump said that the scheme has been shared with Hamas and as soon as Hamas confirms it, the ceasefire will be implemented immediately. Describing it as a historical moment, he said that it is a step towards the end of the 3,000 -year -old destruction.

Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth social that Israel has agreed to the initial return line and the proposal has been sent to Hamas. As soon as Hamas agrees to this, the ceasefire will come into force, the blessings will start exchange and the next phase of Israel’s return will be decided. He told people that this is a big moment for the world and everyone should be connected.

Trump’s warning to Hamas

Trump gave a clear warning to Hamas not to delay in any kind. He said that if Hamas continues the fight and does not put weapons, then all the conditions will be considered canceled. President Trump also said that the agreement is delicate, but it will be made successful by keeping both sides involved. He assured that his administration will not let any party back from the conversation.

Hamas’s positive response and mortgage release

According to reports, Hamas has given positive response to Trump’s peace plan. The organization has agreed to the major points given in the proposal, including the release of hostages, exchange of prisoners and handing over the Gaza administration to the Palestinian Authority. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he hopes that the release of all hostages will be announced in the coming days.

Preparation for indirect talks in Egypt

According to media reports, representatives of Israel and Hamas will start indirect talks in Egypt from Monday (6 October 2025). However, some issues are still not clear. It is not decided whether Hamas will fully accept all conditions and how to overcome Israel’s safety concerns. Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel Gazese will not fully return but will keep some parts under it for security control.

What is Trump’s 20 point Gaza plan?

Under this scheme, Hamas is expected to release all the hostages caught in the 7 October 2023 attack, including both living and dead. According to reports, Hamas currently has 48 hostage, about 20 alives are said to be alive.

This agreement is considered a major political and human turn between the long -running violence and destruction in Gaza. The United Nations and European countries have welcomed Trump’s initiative and hoped that this can lay the foundation of permanent peace in the Middle East. Shara clarified that his government will protect all minorities.
