However, according to Ayurveda, drinking warm milk before sleeping at night is best for adults for health, as it helps to get good sleep and increases the product of calcium for bones. For children, drinking milk in the morning is more beneficial.</p>

<p><strong>Drinking milk at night: </strong>Drinking milk at night provides relief to the body and it helps in the production of melatonin that causes good sleep, which improves sleep.</p>

The properties present in milk are calm and sleepy, which are beneficial for people suffering from insomnia. Milk for adults is best for bones, muscles, teeth and over all health, milk has essential nutrients like calcium, vitamin D, protein, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and B-vitamins. These nutrients play an important role in strengthening bones, helping muscle function, promoting immunity and providing energy to the body. </p>
<p><strong>For children: </strong>According to Ayurveda, drinking milk in the morning is most beneficial for children. This gives children energy for a day and their body remains active. Drinking milk in the morning makes children feel less fatigue and makes them feel energetic, because the protein and carbohydrates present in it provide them with daylight energy. Milk contains nutrients like calcium, phosphorus and vitamin-D, which help to strengthen children&#8217;s bones.</p>

<p>A healthy adult person should drink milk on an average of 3 cups (about 750 ml) daily, but this quantity depends on every person&#8217;s age, physical need and health. Children from 12 months to 2 years should be fed 1 2/3 to 2 cups of milk daily, and children between 4 to 8 years should be given 2 1/2 cup milk. Healthy adults are advised to drink about 3 cups (750 ml) of milk per day. While drinking 500 ml liter of milk can be beneficial for some people.</p>

<p>Drinking more milk can cause acne and skin problems. Especially, an enzyme called lactose is required to digest lactose. Whose body is high in lactose. Drinking more milk to those people can cause flatulence, gas and diarrhea. Milk with high fat can increase weight. The level of bad cholesterol can increase and there may be a risk of heart diseases.
