National President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Maulana Arshad Madani has given a big statement on the controversy related to Al-Falah University and the situation of Muslims in the country. He says that the current situation is such that it has become almost impossible for a Muslim Vice Chancellor to become a vice chancellor in any university in India and even if one does become one, his outcome will be the same as what happened to socialist leader Azam Khan – jail.

Maulana Madani was speaking at a seminar organized in Delhi, which focused on the life and legacy of Mufti Kifayatullah Dehlvi, one of the founders of Jamiat. During his address, he raised the issue of the controversy related to Al-Falah University and its owner and said that the system does not want to allow Muslims to progress.

Madani said this big thing

In his address, Maulana Madani said, “The owner of Al-Falah University is lying in jail. No one knows for how long he will remain in jail. What kind of justice system is this that someone should be kept in jail continuously when the case has not even been fully proven yet.” He further said that even after 75 years of independence, Muslims are being prevented from progressing in education, leadership and administrative structures.

Giving global examples, Madani said that Muslims are holding big responsibilities across the world, he said, “Today a Muslim Mamdani can become the Mayor of New York. Sadiq Khan can become the Mayor of London, but a Muslim cannot become the Vice Chancellor of any university in India and if he does, he will go to jail like Azam Khan.” His statement is being seen in the context of Al-Falah University, where several legal investigations and arrest cases have come to light recently.

‘Governments want Muslims not to be able to raise their heads’- Madani’s allegation

Maulana Madani said, “Since independence, the governments have been trying to weaken the Muslims. The governments want the land to be taken away from the feet of the Muslims and it has been taken away to a large extent. Today the morale of the Muslims has been shattered.” He said that the allegation of lack of leadership among Muslims is wrong. If Muslims can become mayors in big cities of the world, then why are leadership not being allowed to emerge in India?

Who is Druj? Different identity from Islam
The roots of the Druj community may have been associated with Islam, but this community considers itself different from Islam. In the 11th century, this community broke into existence by separating from the Shia Ismaili opinion. Druj is also considered a part of Abrahamic religions and he is also monotheistic, that is, believes in a God.

However, some of his beliefs are different than Islam. For example, Druj believes in rebirth and is considered to be fatalist. Their language is Arabic and they originally belong to the Arab community.

Homogeneous
The Druj community is mainly spread to Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan. Apart from this, they also have small settlements abroad. There are about 5 lakh drums in Syria and Golan Heights alone. A large part of them is also inhabited in Israel, and that is why the Jewish community feels close to them. One of the big reasons for this is that Druj does not believe in Islamic beliefs and religiously appears close to the Jewish society.

In Druj religion, neither conversion is allowed nor inter -religious marriage. This is why it acts like a closed religious society. He has also participated in the Israeli army and he plays an active role in protecting there. However, in the eyes of Islamic extremists, they are always on target and often become victims of violence.

In the interview, when he was asked that Owaisi gave the slogan of ‘Jai Palestine, Jai Bhima’ during the swearing -in and now he has changed his perception towards Owaisi? On this, Dubey said that it was unfair during the oath to say “Jai Palestine”, he should not have said so. However, he also added that the Government of India recognizes ‘Two Nation Theory’ since 1948, in which both Israel and Palestine are different countries. He made it clear that India is opposed to Hamas, not Palestine.

Friendship continues despite political differences

Nishikant Dubey said that his friendship with Owaisi is already and still persists, but there is a big difference in ideology. He said that “The difference is that Owaisi does Pro-Muslim politics and the aggression in it is uncomfortable many times.” He further said that he and Owaisi can never agree on issues like internal affairs like Waqf Board or Muslim Reservation.

Both leaders stayed together in foreign tour

During the interview, when he was asked that he and Owaisi were together in a foreign delegation recently, what is the relationship? To this, Dubey replied, “I already said, both of us are completely unanimous on issues like national security. Owaisi is more vocal than me there. We both stand together on such issues.”
