Vikram Gokhale was born on 30 October 1940 in Pune, Maharashtra. His father Chandrakant Gokhale was also a veteran actor of Marathi theater and films. Vikram Gokhale was not only a great actor but also a director, he directed the Marathi film ‘Aghat’ in 2010. In 2016, he retired from the stage due to throat problems and died on 26 November 2022.
