A famous matchmaker and dating coach, while sharing her experience, revealed the demands of a 37-year-old divorced man, which both surprised and angered people. This matter is not just about one person’s choice, but also brings to light the double standards and bad thinking present in the society.

What was this person’s demand?

According to the matchmaker, this person is a very successful professional and works as a director in a big company, but when it came to marriage, his conditions were very strict and shocking. His demand was that the girl’s age should be less than 30 years, she should be from the Brahmin community, she should never have been married, she should not have had any previous relationship and she should be a virgin.

When questions were raised, strange answers came

When the matchmaker questioned his thinking and asked whether the same rules applied to him too, his answer was even more shocking. He said that this comparison is not correct. When asked more deeply, he clearly said because I am a man. This one answer made the whole matter more serious, because it directly shows the gender bias present in the society.

Clarification given by citing research

To justify his demands, the man also said that according to some research, women who have had multiple relationships are not faithful in marriage. However, he did not provide any concrete evidence of this research. The matchmaker challenged this argument and said that if this was so then the same should apply to a divorced person, but he refused to accept this.

When it became clear that this person was not ready to change his thinking, the matchmaker refused to take him as a client. He clearly said that this is not just a matter of choice, but this thinking is completely unequal and controlling. He said that such a person cannot create an equal relationship with anyone, rather he wants to control his partner’s past.

People’s anger erupted on social media

As soon as this matter came to light, there was a queue of people’s reactions on social media. Many people called his thinking unrealistic and wrong. Some users sarcastically said that perhaps this is the reason why she got divorced. At the same time, some people also said that divorced people should look for a partner like themselves. However, not all reactions were negative. Some people supported him saying that every person has the right to his choice.
