The Pakistan team has announced the team for the West Indies tour on Friday, 25 July. Recently, Pakistan was badly defeated by Bangladesh in the T20 series. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan 2–1. Despite this, Pakistan has not included its two veteran batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in the T20 team. Both players have been running out of Pakistan’s T20 team since December last year.

Babur-Rijwan was once again ignored

Babur and Rizwan last played a T20 match for Pakistan, against South Africa in December last year. Since then, Babur and Rizwan have not got a place in Pakistan’s T20 team. While Babur and Rizwan have been the two most successful batsmen of Pakistan. But the Pakistan team is constantly ignoring both the players. The way both the players are being ignored, it may also happen that both the players did not get a place in the team in the next year’s T20 World Cup.

Shaheen Afridi returns

Babur-Rizwan did not get a chance. But Pakistan team fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has returned to the team. Afridi last played in the T20 series against New Zealand. After this, he was not selected against Bangladesh. But now he has returned to the team.

T20 series will start from July 31

The three -match T20 series between Pakistan and West Indies will start from 31 July. All matches of T20 SRG will be played in Lauderhill, USA. The first match will be played on 31 July, while the second match will be played on August 2. While the last and third match of the series will be played on 3 August.
