On not being selected in the ODI series against Australia, Mohammed Shami said, ‘I don’t think anything further should be said about this, which will increase controversy. But if I can play Ranji for 4 days, then I can play 50-over cricket also. Shami further said that ‘As far as giving updates is concerned, it is not my responsibility to ask about updates or to give updates’.

Mohammed Shami is currently playing Ranji Trophy for Bengal. Bengal is competing with Uttarakhand in Ranji Trophy. In this match, Bengal won the toss and decided to bowl first.
