Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has given a befitting reply to those who questioned the form of spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Supporting Ravindra Jadeja, Siraj said on Saturday that he will regain his rhythm soon. Let us tell you that Ravindra Jadeja has failed to take wickets in the first two ODI matches against New Zealand. Earlier, he could take only one wicket in the three-match series against South Africa.

The final and decisive match of the three-match series between India and New Zealand is to be played in Indore tomorrow i.e. on Sunday. Before this match, Siraj said while talking to journalists, “I don’t think Jadeja’s form is a matter of concern in any way. It is a matter of only one wicket. Once you get that wicket, you will see a completely different kind of bowler.“

Siraj said that despite being under pressure in both the ODIs, the bowling unit performed well. Some chances were missed in the second ODI, due to which New Zealand was successful in leveling the three-match series. He said, “We performed very well in both the matches. In the first ODI, both our bowling and batting were excellent. Despite the fall of early wickets in the second match, KL Rahul batted well and Nitish Reddy also contributed.“

Regarding Daryl Mitchell’s match-winning innings, Siraj said that India had chances to win. He said, there was an occasion when the catch was missed. If we had taken advantage of that opportunity, the outcome could have been different. World class batsmen don’t give you many chances. When they get life support then you have to pay a heavy price for it. We tried our best to get him out and planned especially for the middle overs. But in the end the matter stops at that one moment. If we had taken advantage of that opportunity, the situation would have been different.

Siraj said that the atmosphere of the team remains positive before playing the decisive match. He said, “The atmosphere of the team is very good. There is full support from the senior players. There are wins and losses, but the atmosphere in the dressing room is very positive.”
