There is a farmer in a small village in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh, whose story reminds us of the film ‘Mother India’. Amar Singh, a 90 -year -old farmer, has only three acres of land. Amar Singh has neither a tractor nor any modern agricultural equipment, but there is no shortage in his spirits and hard work. Every morning he goes to his farm and cultivates in a traditional way. The elderly farmer has made a solution with a wheel of a bicycle by putting a desi jugaad due to lack of tractor, bullock cart and he himself with a plow plowing with the bull.

Accused of not getting insurance on loss
The farmers have also accused the administration. He says that when it came to know that the soybean crop of farmer Amar Singh was being ruined by natural disaster, floods, excess water or drought for the last 10 years, the farmers demanded financial assistance and insurance amount for him. This demand continued from the district administration to the government, but the farmers did not get their rights insurance amount.

Now farmers say that the amount of insurance by the bank is deducted from the account itself. When the crop is lost, he does not get any insurance amount.
