I have to explain again and again that I am not Humayun Kabir of Murshidabad. I am a different person, although both of us were TMC MLAs until they were suspended last week.

He told that calls are coming from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai, Haryana, Rajasthan and even from abroad. Debra MLA Humayun Kabir left his job as a police officer to join politics in 2021. He said, ‘I usually pick up all unknown numbers. In the last two days, I must have received around 200 such calls.
