Due to heavy rains, water logging has been created in many areas of Delhi-NCR. At the same time, this rain is proving to be a boon for the farmers. Especially for paddy crop, water is most required at this time.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The effect of weather change is being seen not only in the plains, but also in hilly states like Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There has emerged a rage form of rain, due to which there are reports of landslide and roads being closed. According to experts, this year the monsoon pattern looks somewhat different from normal. While people in cities are facing problems, on the other hand it is like good news for rural areas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Three days of rain alert in Uttar Pradesh</strong><br />Uttar Pradesh Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain for three consecutive days from July 11. The main affected districts include Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Jalaun, Mahoba, Auraiya, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra. There is a possibility of not only rain, but also strong wind and lightning in these districts. The local administration has appealed to the people to avoid non-essential visits and stay in safe places. There is also an alert to shine lightning with strong winds in Mathura and Agra. Relief and rescue teams have been deployed by government agencies. The general public has been advised to pay attention to the updates issued by the Meteorological Department and be cautious.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Monsoon situation in Bihar: Will there be a shortage of water this time?</strong><br />According to Patna Meteorological Center, the monsoon in Bihar has been somewhat weak than normal this time. However, from July 11, there is a possibility of rain in East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Banka, Munger and Bhagalpur. Winds may move at a speed of 30-40 km per hour and there is also a possibility of lightning fall. Meanwhile, the farmers of Bihar are worried that if the monsoon condition does not improve, paddy and other kharif crops may be affected. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What is the weather patterns in Rajasthan, Himachal and Uttarakhand?</strong><br />The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh from 11 and 16 July. Especially in Kinnaur and Kullu districts of Himachal Pradesh, landslides remain. Alert has also been issued due to heavy rains in Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts of Uttarakhand. Passengers going on Chardham Yatra have also been requested to plan the journey only after seeing the weather conditions. In Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, there is a possibility of rain on July 11 and 16, which can cause problems like water filling and traffic jams.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Rainfall continues in Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Chhattisgarh</strong><br />Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Konkan and Goa have also been expected to have heavy rains between July 11 to 16. Particularly on 10, 13 and 14 July in Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, heavy rainfall is forecast in Saurashtra and Kutch on 13 July. The effect of strong rains can be seen in Mizoram and Tripura on 11 July.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>States of India</strong><br />The states of Northeast India like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Nagaland have also been said to receive rain during July 12 to 16. Its effect can also be seen on tea gardens and other agricultural products.  Apart from this, there may be heavy rains in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir</strong><br />The heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir in July 2025 have once again alerted the entire region. Life is being affected due to torrential rains especially in high altitude areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the same process of rain may continue for the next few days. The special thing is that this time the impact of rain was not limited only to fields or common paths, but also on railway traffic.</p>

Scientist Dr. Naresh Kumar of the Meteorological Department said that on June 29, the monsoon including Delhi NCR has knocked across the country.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the information given by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the South-West monsoon has covered the entire country by Sunday (June 29, 2025), while the general date is July 8. This happened 9 days before normal. Along with this, there are also estimates of heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next 7 days in many parts of North-West, Central, Eastern and Northeast India and the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of extremely heavy rainfall (> 20 cm/24 hours) at some places in Jharkhand (29 and 30 June) and Odisha (29 June).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Red alert in many states of the country</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Naresh Kumar said that red alert has been given in Himachal and Uttarakhand, the reason is that there is a lot of rainfall activity, right now there is a red alert in Jharkhand.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Orange alert in many states including Delhi-NCR</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR. It is also estimated here that very heavy rainfall may be there. This alert is going to remain for 2 to 3 days. From June 29 to July 2 in Delhi/NCR, the Meteorological Department predicts that the maximum temperature is up to 31-34 ° C, 4-6 ° C less than normal. It can usually be surrounded by clouds and thunder with thunder moderate rain, electricity, and strong winds (30-40 km/h).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>How is the weather going till 29 June &#8211; 5 July</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>East and Central India:</strong> Excessive heavy rainfall: Jharkhand (29-30 June), Odisha (June 29). Heavy to very heavy rainfall: Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand. Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>North-West India:</strong> Heavy rain: Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh very heavy rainfall: Uttarakhand, Himachal, Punjab (29-30 June), West UP (June 29-2 July)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Western India:</strong> Heavy rainfall for 7 consecutive days in Konkan, Goa, Ghat area, Gujarat.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Northeast India:</strong> Very heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura till 2–5 July.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>South India:</strong> Kerala, Karnataka is estimated to have heavy rainfall and strong winds.</p>
