Earthquake Update: Earthquake tremors were once again felt in Pakistan. People came into panic due to the earthquake on Wednesday afternoon. Dera Ghazi Khan’s area was affected due to earthquake, just a few distance away from Multan. Shocks were also felt around it. There was an earthquake in Pakistan last month. On Wednesday, shocks were felt in Pakistan as well as Guatemala, Central America.

According to ‘National Center for Sisamology’, earthquake tremors were felt in Pakistan at 1.32 pm on Wednesday. Its depth was 10 kilometers. The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was measured at 4.1. After this, the earthquake again occurred at 1.45 pm. Its intensity was measured 4.4. Dera Ghazi Khan and its surrounding area were affected due to the earthquake. The important thing is that at present there is no news of any kind of damage.

Earthquake occurred in Pakistan several times in the last two months

Many areas of Pakistan are very sensitive to earthquake. There was an earthquake four times this year in May. There was an earthquake in Balochistan on 10 and 12 May. On May 5, earthquake tremors were felt in Chitral of Pakhtunkhwa. Earthquake tremors were felt three times in and around Karachi in the month of June. After June 2 and 2, on 28 and 29 June, tremors were also felt.

According to the Guinness World Record, there was an earthquake in Indonesia 2212 times in 2023, which is the world record. All these earthquake tremors were of 4 or more intensity.
