A few days ago, Mohammad Siraj got angry when his flight was delayed, after which he expressed his anger on social media. Now Madan Lal, who was a part of the 1983 World Cup winning team, also had to face similar problems. He even wrote that no one cares about the people in our country.

According to reports, Indian airline IndiGo is facing one of its most serious operational problems in recent years. 1983 World Cup winner Madan Lal was also influenced by this. He was stranded in Mumbai for 12 hours. Posting on his

IndiGo CEO Peter Albers also apologized for this, when more than a thousand flights were canceled on Friday, which was the “most affected day” in terms of cancellations. He also said that although the crisis will continue on Saturday, the airline expects less than 1,000 flights to be cancelled.

IndiGo’s CEO said, “Complete normalcy is expected between December 10 and 15, although IndiGo cautions that recovery will take time given the large scale of operations.” According to the report, Indigo operates about 2,300 domestic and international flights daily.

Peter Albers apologized for the great inconvenience caused by the delay and cancellation, saying that this situation had happened for several reasons. This crisis in IndiGo has come due to new rules, which have increased the weekly rest requirement of pilots from 12 hours to 48 hours. The new rules allow only two landings per night per week, down from six earlier. IndiGo has cited “miscalculation and lack of planning” as the reason for the large-scale cancellations.

An Indigo airline flight made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport on Tuesday (December 2, 2025). This flight had flown from Kuwait to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana in India, in which information about a bomb was received on Tuesday (2 December).

After receiving information about a bomb, flight 6E 1234 made an emergency landing at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA). After landing, all the passengers were landed safely at the airport. After this, the bomb in the plane is being examined in the isolation bay of the airport.

Bomb threat received through email

Hyderabad Airport received a bomb threat on Indigo Airlines flight 6E 1234 through email. After receiving the threat, an atmosphere of concern was created at the airport. Immediately after this, emergency landing of the plane was done as per security protocol and investigation is being done. Fire and medical teams were also deployed at the airport to deal with any emergency.

It is noteworthy that the flight took off from Kuwait at 1:56 am between Monday-Tuesday (December 1-2, 2025), which made an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport at 8:10 am on Tuesday (December 2, 2025).

Received bomb threats many times before

However, this is not the first time that a bomb threat has been made on board an airline’s passenger plane. Many airports in the country have received such threats through e-mail many times before, but when the planes were checked as per the security protocol, all these threats were proved to be false, but keeping in mind the safety of air passengers, effective steps are taken immediately to deal with any suspicious situation.

Bomb threat turned out to be false after investigation

After the emergency landing of the plane and the safe landing of all the passengers on board, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel and the bomb disposal squad thoroughly searched the entire plane, passengers and their luggage. After several hours of investigation, the threat was declared false and nothing suspicious was found on the plane.

The airline issued a statement after the incident

Indigo airline issued a statement saying that the safety of passengers was given top priority. After the investigation was completed, the passengers were sent to Hyderabad in an alternative flight. This incident once again proves that aviation security agencies do not take any threat lightly and take every possible step to ensure the safety of passengers. Police have started investigating the IP address of the e-mail to identify the sender of the threat.

Navi Mumbai International Airport: Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is going to start operating commercial aircraft from December 25. In the initial phase, 23 flights will be operated throughout the day. In the first month, the airport will operate for a total of 12 hours from 8 am to 8 pm. During this period the airport will be able to handle a maximum of 10 flight movements per hour.

The airport has been developed by Navi Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (NMIAL), a special unit jointly owned by Adani Group and Maharashtra Municipal and Industrial Development Corporation Limited (CIDCO).

Navi Mumbai International Airport is going to become one of the busiest and important aviation hubs of the country. Located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, this airport is strategically built to meet the rapidly growing air travel demands of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and Western India.

Spread over 1,160 hectares (2,866 acres), the airport will be able to handle 90 million passengers per annum (MPPA) after complete construction. It will have two parallel runways, modern terminal buildings and advanced cargo facilities, which will make passenger experience smoother and cargo handling more efficient.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport on 8 October. In the initial phase, this airport will operate 12 hours a day (08:00 am to 20:00 pm) for the first month. This includes 23 scheduled daily flights and up to 10 flight movements per hour.

The first commercial flight to arrive at NMIA after the inauguration will be IndiGo flight 6E460 (from Bengaluru), which will land at 8:00 am on 25 December. The first departing flight will be IndiGo 6E882, which will depart for Hyderabad at 8:40 am.

NMIA is being developed as a greenfield airport, incorporating eco-friendly infrastructure, use of renewable energy and green building principles. Its fluid and futuristic design represents the national flower of India. Lotus Inspired by.

Airlines and Routes

In the initial operations, airlines like IndiGo, Air India Express and Akasa Air will connect Mumbai to 16 major domestic destinations. The airport will start operating 24×7 from February 2026, and daily flight departures will be increased to 34.

To strengthen the security arrangements, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was formally deployed at NMIA on 29 October 2025. When fully developed, NMIA is designed to handle 90 million passengers per annum (MPPA), while in the initial phase it will handle 20 MPPA and 0.5 million metric tonnes of cargo.

Navi Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (NMIAL) is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) set up to develop, construct, operate and maintain a greenfield international airport project in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. NMIAL is based on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, in which Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) – a subsidiary of Adani Airports Holdings Limited (AAHL) – holds a 74% stake. Whereas CIDCO, a Maharashtra government undertaking, has 26% stake. AAHL is a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, the flagship company of the Adani Group.

Flight operations were severely affected on Friday after a major technical glitch in the AMSS system at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, due to which more than 200 flights were delayed. Earlier it was told that this has affected Mumbai Airport also, however later Mumbai Airport Authority said that advisory was issued to the passengers by mistake.

AMSS failed at Delhi airport

As soon as the AMSS system crashed at Delhi Airport, the air traffic control had to leave the automatic mode and work manually. Due to this, the data of each flight had to be processed manually. Distance calculations of the planes also had to be done manually and coordination had to be done through voice communication, due to which the operation of flights became much slower than usual.

Delay of more than an hour at Delhi airport

At present, there is an average delay of 62 minutes i.e. more than an hour in the departure of flights at Delhi Airport. According to data from Flightradar24, this delay has increased after a technical glitch in the air traffic control system. Airports Authority of India (AAI) has said that its teams are busy fixing the AMSS (Automatic Message Switching System), which supports ATC data. There are approximately 1,500 flight movements daily at Delhi Airport. Under normal conditions, 60-70 flights take off and land per hour. In such a situation, due to automation failure, the backlog of flights increased rapidly and the delay extended for several hours, the effect of which was seen in the entire network.

Mumbai Airport issued clarification

Mumbai Airport (MIAL) said that the advisory issued earlier was issued by mistake and was a human error. The airport clarified that all flight operations here are running completely normal and smoothly.

What is AMSS system?

AMSS is the system that sends flight plans, weather information, and other technical data between ATC and airlines. Once it fails, controllers have to enter all the data manually, which makes operations extremely slow and significantly affects flight time.

AAI issued advisory

Airport Authority of India issued a statement saying that due to AMSS malfunction at Delhi Airport, flight operations are getting delayed and the controllers are processing all the plans manually. Technical teams are continuously working on restoring the system. Passengers have been advised to stay in touch with their airlines and keep checking updated schedules.

Advisory issued for the convenience of passengers

Authorities have requested passengers to keep checking flight information from their respective airlines, be prepared for possible delays and follow instructions given at the airport. The situation is being monitored in both Delhi and Mumbai so that the system can be normalized as soon as possible.

What is its characteristics

La Navi Mumbai International Airport from state -of -the -art facilities has been prepared according to both international and domestic flights, with a runway of about 3700 meters. It has the ability to handle large commercial aircraft as well as advanced air control system and modern passenger terminal.

Jawaharlal Nehru is built at a distance of about 14 km from the Port Trust Port, which has the capacity to handle 2 crore passengers every year. Also, along with fulfilling the increasing air traffic demands of western India and Mumbai metropolitan regions, India’s global connectivity will be strengthened.

It is worth noting that major airlines like Akasa Air, IndiGo and Air India Express have announced to start their operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport. In the initial phase, flights of these airlines will connect different big cities. This will not only provide more options for the travel to the passengers, but the air traffic pressure will also be reduced from the current Mumbai airport and distributed at the new airport. This step will prove to be important towards providing better connectivity and fast facilities to western India passengers.

According to information received from the Sahar police, the matter is not limited to illegal journey, but it also points towards a big fake document racket. India’s security agencies have also been alerted for the arrest of suspected foreign nationals.

What did Mumbai police officials tell

Explain that the arrested accused have been identified as 29 -year -old Nepali citizen Krishna Marapan Tamang and 67 -year -old Bangladeshi citizen Niranjan Nath Subal Chandranath. Mumbai Police officials said that both the accused had made Indian passports from Kolkata on the basis of fake documents. These people have also traveled to many countries by making passports on the basis of fake documents.

Fake came to light during immigration investigation

Police officials said that Niranjan Nath had returned to Mumbai from Muskat (Oman), when his documents were investigated thoroughly during the immigration investigation, many discrepancies were revealed. When the police strictly questioned, he admitted the fraud. On the other hand, Krishna was preparing to go abroad and was caught during the check in process.

There was an outcry at Mumbai Airport on Friday (September 12, 2025). In fact, technical fault occurred while flying in a Bombardier Q400 aircraft of SpiceJet airline. For this reason, while flying, the outer wheel of the aircraft broke down and fell down. The aircraft of SpiceJet Airline left for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai with 75 passengers and crew members from Kandla Airport in Gujarat.

Although the incident took place while flying from Kandla Airport in Gujarat on the aircraft, but still the aircraft continued its journey and safely landing in Mumbai. However, soon after receiving the information of this incident, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was declared an emergency at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Aai The officer of the officer gave information about the incident

Officials confirmed that by the time Kandla Air Traffic Control (ATC) saw something falling down in the air, the aircraft had flew. The Airport Authority of India official said in his statement, ‘Kandla had seen something falling down soon after the ATC aircraft took off. After this, he immediately informed the pilot of the aircraft and sent the ATC jeep to bring the thing that falls from the plane.

He said, “When the ATC jeep reached the runway, he saw that the outer wheel of the aircraft and its metal rings had fallen.”

Rescue team was on high alert at Mumbai airport

Fire brigade and rescue teams were placed on high alert at Mumbai airport after receiving information about the fall of the aircraft. However, the aircraft safely landing on Friday (September 12, 2025) at 4 pm. The Mumbai Airport official said, “Despite a serious threat in the air, the aircraft itself reached the terminal while taxi and the passengers got off the aircraft without any untoward incident.”

Airline gave official statement about the incident

SpiceJet spokesperson said in an official statement about the incident, “On September 12, an outer wheel of a Q400 aircraft of SpiceJet going from Kandla to Mumbai was found on the runway. Nevertheless, the aircraft continued its journey and reached Mumbai and made a safe landing. After a safe landing at Mumbai Airport, the aircraft reached the terminal taxi with its strength and all the passengers landed normally.

Dgca What did the former official of the incident say about the incident,

At the same time, a former DGCA official said, ‘The wheel of the aircraft is a serious incident, but because the assembly of the wheel is of two units and one wheel was connected to the aircraft, so the located was handled. But if one came out of the aircraft, the other wheel could also come out.

The official said, ‘The pilot of the aircraft decided to land in Mumbai instead of returning to Kandla after the incident. It may be that he must have believed that Mumbai’s runway is long, which is better for landing in such difficult situations.
