In advisory, cyber cell has asked people not to use it and be careful. According to the cyber cell, more reverse ghibali style art than the Ghibali art is dangerous, through which foreign companies can cause great damage by making a real image.

Advice being given to take precautions
Cyber ​​cell has advised to take precautions before uploading individual photos or accessing files on AI platforms, not only that, people have asked permission to carefully review requested, avoid uncomfortable or informal applications and avoid sharing such materials, which may have personal or sensitive information.

Access to files
According to the Maharashtra Cyber ​​Cell, there have been many important risks related to the use of many other AI image generators including Ghibali Art during the investigation, in which these platforms often include things such as requesting access to device files while uploading reference photos.

This is the biggest concern
According to the cyber cell, the biggest concern is that some of these AI platforms can avail such features to create a mass database of publicly presented photos. These datasets can be used for other purposes beyond model training or basically intended objectives by users. When some art generators are motivated to bring back images of Ghibali-style to real world photos, they are able to create outputs that are very similar to the original images uploaded by users.

‘Not just face biometric information is also in danger’
This ability creates serious concerns about privacy and consent, as it can misuse the photo without a person’s information or permission. DIG Yashasvi Yadav said that at present, people’s face is not just a face, but biometric information.

Such incidents happened earlier also
Once captured, it can be stored, processed, shared and potentially misused in ways that can damage your privacy, identity and safety. Earlier such incidents have taken place, where facial data leaks from similar platforms have led to data violation, identity theft and unauthorized monitoring.

Traffic rules violation in Mumbai: The Mumbai Traffic Police has taken action against 65,12,846 drivers who violate traffic rules during the last 13 months (1 January 2024 to 5 February 2025). A fine of Rs 526 crore was imposed in this action, but so far only Rs 157 crore has been recovered. 369 crore is still outstanding. This information has been received by RTI worker Anil Galgali under Right to Information.

According to the information given by the traffic police, action was taken on violation of 26 types of traffic rules under 41 traffic and 1 multimedia department. However, so far only 20,99,396 vehicle drivers have paid the fine, while 44,13,450 drivers have not yet filled the penalty.

47 vehicle drivers who misused Flicker and Amber Lite were action and a fine of Rs 23,500 was imposed. But out of this only 7 drivers paid a penalty of Rs 3,500. The most action was taken in the Marine Drive area, where 32 vehicles were acted upon, but only 2 of these drivers paid a penalty of Rs 1,000.

RTI activist Anil Galgali said, “The traffic police has taken satisfactory action, but due to lack of officers and employees, there is no more effective recovery. There is a need to conduct special campaigns against the drivers who have not yet paid the fine.” According to Anil Galgali, digital notices should be sent for recovery of fine and the process of seizing vehicles of large defaulted vehicle owners should be adopted.
