Information was immediately given to agencies and police. After which the security agencies immediately came into action. As soon as the information was received, senior officers of BKC Police Station, ATS team and officers of Unit-8 reached the spot and took possession of the entire premises and started investigation.

As a precaution, B.D.D.S. (Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad) and Dog Squad team conducted a thorough search of the lobby, main entrance, access roads, trees and plants and the entire surrounding area of ​​the Passport Office located at Videsh Bhawan. No suspicious or objectionable object was found during the investigation, after which the officials heaved a sigh of relief. However, taking the matter seriously, the police remains alert.

Engaged in cyber crime investigation

The police have started the process of gathering information regarding the suspicious email ID through the Cyber ​​Police Station and further action is underway. Apart from this, the security personnel of the passport office have also been instructed to be alert and follow the security standards.
