John Kiriaku said, “We gave millions and millions of dollars of aid to Pakistan. We met Musharraf several times a week. Musharraf also had his own people with whom he had to deal. Musharraf maintained the support of the army while pretending to cooperate with America on counter terrorism, but continued his activities against India.”

He said, “Pervez Musharraf had to keep the army happy and the army did not care about Al-Qaeda.
