Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has rejected Rahul Gandhi’s alleged statement that the NDA government at the Center will fall within a year. Fadnavis called it daydreaming and just imagination. In fact, BJP claimed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had said in the Advisory Council meeting of the Congress Minority Department on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government will not last long and may fall within a year.

Responding to this, Devendra Fadnavis took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and mentioned the beautiful dream of the famous TV show Mungerilal. He said, ‘There used to be a very popular TV serial, whose name was ‘Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne’. Rahul Gandhi’s words are of the same kind. Nothing more than that.

Statement given during the program in Nagpur

Fadnavis made this comment during the inauguration program of a new warehouse logistics park in Nagpur. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present in this program. The Chief Minister said that this logistics park will prove to be very beneficial for the manufacturing sector in Nagpur and the surrounding areas. He told that due to the new logistics policy of Maharashtra Government, Nagpur is fast emerging as a big logistics hub of the country.

Logistics costs will reduce

Fadnavis said that with the construction of new logistics parks, the cost of transportation of goods will reduce and industries will benefit. He said, ‘If India has to compete strongly at the global level and strengthen its position in the international supply chain, then it is very important to reduce logistics costs.’ He further said that the government is working in this direction so that industries can get better facilities and business can become easier.

Increased rhetoric between BJP and Congress

After the alleged statement of Rahul Gandhi, political rhetoric between BJP and Congress has intensified. BJP leaders have continuously attacked Rahul Gandhi, while there is no detailed reaction from the Congress on this matter yet.
