Munir ahmad news: Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court have issued notice to the Union Home Ministry (MHA) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in response to a writ petition filed by former CRPF constable Munir Ahmed. Justice Javed Iqbal Wani passed the order after hearing the initial arguments in the petition filed through advocate Ankur Sharma. The court has asked the Ministry of Home Affairs and CRPF to reply before the next hearing on June 30.

In February 2024, a similar letter was sent to the then Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra by Jammu-Riyasi MP Jugal Kishore Sharma.
