Be it Afghanistan or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan’s army is killing Pashtuns everywhere in the name of carrying out anti-terrorism operations. In the strike carried out on Afghanistan at midnight on Saturday, the Pakistani Army targeted a residential house in Besud district of Nangarhar province, in which 17 people including 11 children were killed. All these 17 were ordinary citizens of Afghanistan and were Pashtuns.

Apart from Afghanistan, in our own country, the Pakistani Army yesterday also fired a mortar on a vehicle in Tirah Valley of Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which 5 Pashtuns including 2 children were killed. After the incident, when people went to the Pakistani post and demonstrated, Pakistan’s Punjabi dominated army started indiscriminate firing on unarmed Pashtuns, in which about 8 common local Pashtuns were injured.

Pak army targeting Pashtuns in the name of terrorism

For the last one year, in the name of anti-terrorism campaign, Pakistan’s army has been attacking the houses, vehicles, marriage programs of Pashtuns living in their country, sometimes with drones and sometimes with mortars, and in these attacks, more than 168 common Pashtuns have lost their lives, which includes 39 children and 83 women. Also, in the name of anti-terrorism campaign in Afghanistan, Pakistan has killed 88 common Pashtuns from September 2025 to February 2026, which includes more than 29 children and more than 16 women.

94% Pashtun population in PAK-Afghan

94% of the world’s Pashtun population lives in Pakistan and Afghanistan. While more than 65% of the total population of Afghanistan is Pashtun, 15% of the total population of Pakistan is Pashtun, who live in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Also, these Pashtuns living in Pakistan and Afghanistan speak Pashto.

Pakistan did not even spare Frontier Gandhi

Since the partition in 1947, Pakistan has been dominated by leaders and military officers belonging to Punjab and Pashtuns have had to face atrocities at the hands of the Pakistani government. The biggest leader of the Pashtuns, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan alias Frontier Gandhi, had opposed the partition since the time of the freedom struggle and later demanded a separate country for the Pashtuns, due to which he was also sent to jail several times by the Pakistani government and after the partition, the oppression of the Pakistani army continued on the Pashtuns because the top leaders of Pakistan felt that the Pashtuns were a threat to the unity of Pakistan.

Pashtuns do not follow Durand Line, that is why Pakistan gets irritated

At present, the Pashtuns living in Pakistan and the Pashtuns of Afghanistan do not believe in the Durand Line as the Pakistan-Afghanistan border because according to them, the area from Herat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has belonged only to the Pashtuns and in ancient times, their ancestors have been migrating from one place to another, sometimes for work and sometimes from one place to another during the winter season. Similarly, its biggest rival terrorist organization present in Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is also present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all its top commanders are Pashtuns, due to which the Pakistani Army feels that the Pashtuns living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa help the TTP and that is why Pakistan keeps targeting the general Pashtun population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with drone attacks and mortars.

Pashtuns got guns instead of pens and pencils

If seen from a historical perspective, Pakistan educated the Pashtun population living in its country and instead of taking them forward, it used them for Afghan Jihad in the first 80s, where instead of giving pens and pencils in the hands of Pashtuns, the army gave them weapons and sent them to fight Russia in Afghanistan by making them Mujahideen. Then after the end of Afghan Jihad, when these Pashtuns started coming back, then Pakistan started sending them to do Jihad in Kashmir, then in 2001, when the American army again reached Afghanistan and ousted Taliban from power, then on one hand, Pakistan got its Pashtun population armed to fight with Taliban against America and NATO and also carried out drone attacks on its own Pashtun population in Waziristan and Khyber to end terrorism from America. Get it done.

Army engaged in crushing Pashtuns for 30 years

Pakistan Army is not only oppressing the Pashtun population living in its country for the last 30 years and always uses them for terrorism, but Pakistan also considers the Pashtuns living in Afghanistan as its enemies. He feels that the Pashtuns of Afghanistan want to capture Pakistan. Since the Pashtuns of Afghanistan not only consider the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as their part but also consider Quetta of Balochistan as a part of Kandahar province. For this reason, Pakistan has always considered Afghanistan as its enemy country and when there was democratic rule in Afghanistan, Pakistan used to supply money and terrorists to Taliban to destabilize Afghanistan, who used to kill government targets and common Pashtuns in terrorist attacks.

Pakistan considers Pashtuns as enemies

Now when Taliban is in power in Afghanistan since 15 August 2021, which Pakistan had called its brother at that time and claimed that its own intelligence agency ISI had given power to Taliban in Afghanistan, now Pakistan is directly attacking the residential areas of Afghanistan and killing Pashtuns. Overall, for Pakistan, whether the Pashtuns are from Afghanistan or Pakistan, their lives have no value, whenever it wants, it uses Pashtuns for terrorism and then as per its wish, sometimes carries out air strikes on the houses, madrassas, shops of Pashtuns in Afghanistan and sometimes carries out drone attacks on the Pashtuns living in its own country.

Balochistan’s fighters and separatist militant group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) have given sleepless nights to the Pakistani Army. BLA has claimed that it has captured many Pakistani soldiers. Here, the Pakistani Army has denied that these are not our people. On this, BLA has released a video challenging the Pakistan Army. There are about 8 Pakistani soldiers in this, who are in the custody of BLA. BLA has released a video regarding this some time ago, before the self-imposed deadline for the exchange of prisoners was over.

BLA has released a video on its social media. In this, the detained soldiers are showing their alleged official service ID cards and documents of citizenship in front of the camera. Besides, an appeal for help is also being made from Pakistan Army officials.

In the video released by BLA, the arrested people are seen saying, how can the army say that we are not their people? Whose card is this, Pakistan has given it to me? I appeal, for God’s sake, my father is disabled and I am the eldest in the house. Don’t be unfair by saying that we are not your people.

During this time, the soldier seen speaking in the video has appealed to the Pakistani authorities. Also said that if you are saying that, we are not your people, then why did you recruit me? Why are you saying that the video is fake?

In fact, a week ago, BLA had claimed that earlier this week the rebel group had given a seven-day deadline to the Pakistani government for the exchange of prisoners. It warned that if negotiations did not take place within this time, the prisoners could be hanged. BLA had given the deadline till 22 February. Pakistan Army has hardly 48 hours left.

BLA released the video and said- only 3 days left

BLA had claimed that these prisoners were captured during the second phase of Operation Herof. Some prisoners were released with prior warning. He was identified as ethnic Baloch. He was associated with the local police. The remaining prisoners were members of regular units of the Pakistani Army. They were kept in captivity. Action was taken against him in Baloch National Court. The BLA has said that if the Pakistani government shows willingness to officially exchange prisoners of war, these prisoners can be exchanged in exchange for the release of Baloch prisoners held by Pakistani authorities.

Here, amidst the claims of BLA, Pakistan Army officials have reportedly denied and said that none of their men are missing. Nor is anyone in the custody of the rebels. Also, the exchange of prisoners was completely rejected.

While releasing the video, BLA said that talks should be held immediately because only 3 days are left in the seven-day ultimatum. If talks are not held within the deadline, the detained people will be hanged. Till now neither the Pakistan Army nor the Shahbaz Sharif government has given any reaction on the video.
