News agency ANI has shared a video in which security officials are crossing the Bhagirathi river by loading the displaced people in boats. Jangipur Superintendent of Police Anand Roy, who arrived to receive these people, said, “All, except 50 people, have returned from Malda. We are here to pick them up. The situation is absolutely peaceful at the moment.” TMC MP Khalilur Rahman and TMC MLA Amirul Islam were also present on the occasion.

So far 292 people have been arrested

Regarding the violence in Murshidabad, he said, “We have been arresting people since day one and yesterday we have arrested two more people. In this, one has been arrested for murder and one has been arrested for rioting. We have registered 153 cases so far and arrested 292 accused.”

What did TMC leader say?

MP Rahman said, “It is a good thing that our friends who migrated from Dhulian are now coming back home on their own will. The atmosphere in Dhulian is very peaceful. This is what they want and it will continue like this.” At the same time, Amirul Islam claimed that people have not been brought back, rather they have returned to Dhulian voluntarily.

Murshidabad vioolence: Violence against Waqf law in Murshidabad, West Bengal has taken a serious form. Three people have died in this violence, while many people have died in this violence, while many people are injured. The situation here deteriorated so much that the police had to seek the help of BSF. From the state to the central government, the situation is keeping an eye on the situation. There is no rumor spread among the people, so the Internet has been suspended in four districts including Murshidabad. So far 150 people have been arrested in this case.

According to the order issued by the State Secretariat of West Bengal, the services of internet have been banned till 10 pm on Tuesday (April 15) in Jangipur, Malda and parts of Jangipur, Malda and Birbhum along with violence affected.

No one is allowed to take law in hand: Governor

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose said that Raj Bhavan is monitoring the situation in Murshidabad and other violence affected areas. Talks are also being held with the Chief Minister about this. The Government of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs is keeping an effective monitoring. Reports are being collected from law enforcement officers including BSF and local police.

Security force ready for any action: Governor

He said, ‘The Ministry of Home Affairs has deployed a sufficient number of central forces and security forces are ready for any action. There are 9 BSF companies there. CRPF and RAF are ready. State Police and Central Forces are active in the ground. The miscreants are being arrested. The central force is providing time to the people trapped in crisis. The miscreants and their masters should realize that this will be a big fight. No one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands. This is a fight against violence and injustice.

Hindu families migrated from Murshidabad: Shubhendu Adhikari

West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has claimed that many Hindu families have recently migrated from other areas including Suti, Samserganj, Jangipur, Dhulian and Farakka in Murshidabad and have taken refuge in neighboring districts. He wrote on X, ‘Those who could not go out are struggling to meet their basic needs. Their houses have been looted and vandalized. Even their drinking water wells have been poisoned. Some people have returned to their homes with the help of BSF personnel.

Administration is not allowing to distribute relief material: Shubhendu

Shubhendu Officer claimed that the district administration and Superintendent of Police are not allowing people to go to these areas to distribute relief material. I am sending email in this regard, but so far no response has been received from their side. At this time, I would like to appeal to philanthropic organizations like Ramakrishna Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangh and ISKCON to help them by providing food items and drinking water for these people trapped in crisis.

Sukanta Majumdar will meet the victims

After the violence in Murshidabad, many of Dhulian’s families migrated to Malda, where they stayed in a school in Bashbnagar. BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar will visit that school today and will meet the victims. After this he will go to Mothibari, where he will meet the victims of the clash a few days ago.

This is true, people are scared: BSF Pro

BSF’s DIG Pro Neelotpal Kumar Pandey said on Sunday (April 13), “When the situation in two police stations of Murshidabad and Samserganj became tense, we had deployed our soldiers at the request of the administration. The next day we deployed more soldiers. Today, 9 of our companies are deployed in two police station areas of Murshidabad. We are all present in hotspots. The order came from the administration. At that time only two companies were deployed as we had to answer immediately. People are scared, this is true.

BJP compared Mamata Banerjee to Jinnah

BJP leader Tarun Chugh compared Mamata Banerjee to Mohammad Ali Jinnah over the Murshidabad violence. He said that the image of Mamata Banerjee has been established as modern Jinnah and her party is acting like a Muslim league. Chugh said, ‘Even after the death of three people in the violence against Waqf law in Murshidabad, Mamata Banerjee’s mysterious silence is embarrassing, highly condemnable and painful. The Mamta government is constantly compromising on the safety of Hindus in the name of minority appeasement.

Murshidabad vioolence: Three people, including father-son died in violent clashes allegedly associated with the ongoing protest against Waqf (Amendment) Act in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, after which West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Saturday that the Waqf (Amendment) Act would not be implemented in the state. Between increasing unrest in areas like Sati and Shamsherganj, Kolkata High Court, while hearing a petition filed by Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari, ordered the deployment of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) in the affected areas.

In West Bengal, the number of deployment of paramilitary force Border Security Force personnel in violence -prone areas was increased, about 1600 personnel will soon take a front in violence -hit areas. Right now 800 soldiers are present in violent areas. The deployment of BSF jawans is being done after a meeting held between the Union Home Secretary, the DGP of the state and the Chief Secretary. It was decided in the meeting yesterday that the state government will submit a report about violence to the Union Home Ministry at regular intervals. Apart from this, about 10 companies of paramilitary force have been kept on alert, which can be deployed in West Bengal anytime if needed. The personnel of the central paramilitary forces deployed will work with the state police to handle the law and order.

1. A division bench headed by Justice Saumen Sen said that when such situations arise, the court “cannot remain closed” and emphasized the need to provide adequate protection to the common people. The court also directed the Center and the state to submit a detailed report on the situation before the next hearing on 17 April.

2. At least three people, including father and son, died and more than 150 people have been arrested and more than 150 people have been arrested due to violent protests in Suti and Shamsherganj blocks of Murshidabad. To pacify the protesters, the Chief Minister made it clear that the concerned law has been enacted by the Central Government, not their government. The Chief Minister said in a post on ‘X’, “Remember, we have not made the law on which many people are angry. This law has been made by the Central Government. So the answer you want should be asked from the central government.” He asked, “We have clarified our position in this matter – we do not support this law. If this law will not apply in our state, then why is the riot.”

3. Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan spoke on the Murshidabad violence with a video conference with West Bengal Chief Secretary and DGP. The Union Home Secretary asked the Chief Secretary and DGP of West Bengal to take adequate steps to ensure normal status as soon as possible.

4. The Ministry of Home Affairs said that in addition to about 300 BSF personnel available locally in the violence affected Murshidabad, five more companies were deployed at the request of the West Bengal government. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Union Home Secretary said that the Center is closely monitoring the situation, he assured West Bengal of all possible help.

5. The official said that the bodies of father and son were recovered in a house in Jafarabad in the violence affected Shamsherganj area, who had stabs with a knife. The family of the deceased alleged that the criminals looted their house and hit both of them with a knife. In another incident, a 21 -year -old youth was shot dead and died in Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital on Saturday evening during a clash at Sajur Mor in Sajur, Sajur on Friday. Violence took place in some areas on Saturday too. Two workers of a bidi factory, including a minor boy, were shot dead while going to work in Dhulian. Both are being treated at Murshidabad Medical College and their condition is said to be stable. Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Javed Shamim told reporters in Kolkata that more than 150 people have been arrested so far in connection with the violence.

6. Violence arose against the Central Government’s Waqf (Amendment) Act caused extensive disruption. The protesters set the police vehicles on fire, blocked the roads and damaged the railway property. Train services between Dhulianganga and Nimmatita stations on Friday on the New Farakka-Azimganj rail route of Eastern Railway were interrupted for about six hours. Prohibition has been implemented in many parts of Murshidabad and internet services have been suspended to prevent the situation from further deteriorating.

7. Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar warned of strict action against the people involved in the violence. He said, “This is a fight between good and evil. Rumors will have to stop spreading. We will request people not to take the law in their hands. We assure them that the police will take strict steps against the culprits and protect the life and property of the common people. ”

8. Leader of the Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari demanded that the protesters protesting the Waqf (Amendment) Act to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), allegedly damaging and sabotage of railway property. He posted on ‘X’ and said, “Let me tell you that there was nothing to protest about it, this violence was pre -planned.” This is an attack on democracy and governance by jihadi forces, who want anarchy to claim their dominance and spread fear among other communities of our society. “He said,” Public property was destroyed, government officials were threatened, and created an atmosphere of fear. All this was done under false guise of disagreement. ”

9. BJP’s state unit president Sukant Mazumdar urged the Trinamool government to strictly implement the rule of law in Murshidabad. He said that such a “barbarity and hooliganism will be stopped and crushed by a section of minorities when the BJP comes to power in the state.” Majumdar said, “Hinduism believes in the true concept of secularism, pluralism as he is peace -loving and non -violent.” But if an attempt is made to take out Hindus from some areas of Murshidabad, where Muslims are majority, the common people of Bengal, Hindus of Bengal will retaliate to save their dignity, respect and identity.

10. While reversing this, Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee said that the opposition is trying to spoil communal harmony for political gains.
