The top places in the most common destination list of Muslim migrants are rich Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Muslim migrants mainly go to countries which are financially rich and where Muslims are majority. This trend is common among migrants coming from Syria, India, and other Muslim-majority countries.

Saudi Arabia is also known as the world’s third largest migrant destination. 93 percent of the total population here is Muslim and 80 percent of the migrants are Muslims.

Like Saudi Arabia, there is a great demand for migrant workers in UAE, and most of the migrants here come from India and other Muslim countries.

Turki is the third most common destination for Muslim migrants. By 2020, there were 5.9 million Muslim migrants, most of whom came from Syria.

After the Syrian civil war in 2011, the Turki settled a large number of refugees. The Turkas have seen the number of Muslim migrants growing almost six times in a decade.

Germany and the United States are other major destinations for Muslim migrants. Better economic opportunities and social security in these countries attract Muslim migrants, although the Muslim migrant number here is not as big as Saudi Arabia or Türkiye.

Europe and North America remain a major destinations for Muslim migrants, although the number of migrants in these areas is low. 20 percent of Muslim migrants live in Europe, while 6 percent are in North America.

For example, in countries such as Germany and the United States, Muslim migrants mainly go for better job opportunities and safe environment. Despite this, the number of Muslim migrants in Europe and North America is less than that of Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia or Türkiye.
