By becoming Simar of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, Deepika Kakkar made an identity from house to house, but her real life is no less than a film story.

Pune -born Deepika started her career as an air hostess, but due to health issue, she left the job after 3 years and stepped into the TV industry. In the year 2010, he made his debut with ‘Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi’. After this, she appeared in the role of Rekha in the next birth Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.

But he got the real identity from ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ made him an overnight star. Playing the role of Simar, his innocence and acting won the hearts of the audience.

After this, his victory in the 12th season of ‘Bigg Boss’ in the year 2018 increased his fan following. In 2019, his acting in ‘Kahan Hum Kahan Tum’ also got a lot of love from the audience.

His personal life was equally discussed with a career. In 2011, she married Pilot Raunak Samson but the relationship ended with divorce in 2015.

She became a mother in 2023 and gave birth to son Ruhan. But as he felt that his life became easier now, then something happened that shook him.

In the year 2025, Deepika came to know that she has stage 2 liver cancer. After 14 hours of surgery and targeted therapy, she is now recovering. In his Vlog, he said- ‘This was the most difficult period of my life, but the blessings of Shoaib and my fans gave me courage.’

Despite the ulcer and other problems after the surgery, Deepika did not give up. Now there are reports that Deepika is going to comeback on TV.
